Pack Data

Drops all records marked for deletion from a data file (FOREVER).  Once records are dropped from a file recall is not possible.   

Select Utilities - Data Maintenance - Pack Data Files

This routine removes all records marked for deletion from the checked data file(s) in your current data directory - FOREVER.  You can pack a single file or all files.  After each file is packed, it also performs a reindex of the file so that the indexes are updated.

To pack one file, click on it and select the pack button.

To pack multiple files, select the required files and then click on the pack button.

To pack all files, just click on the Pack All button.
